Hello,

I am french and I search some information for the following steam engine. It's not this one but it's the same. On mine it's write alfa laval. But I don't think it's the brand of the engine. I am searching for the brand, and the weight(we have to move it with a crane) of the engine, and every information about it.

The information I can give to you is some dimension, diameter of the wheel 1600mm. Length of the engine 2800mm.

On the one on the picture we can see ASTRA. But I didn't find anything on this brand.

Thank you for your answer. the website is very instersting.

It's not easy to find the exactly same steam engine, there is always something which is a bit different.

I found this https://www.heimatverein-bippen.de/dampfmaschine/ on internet. but it's a bit different too. on this page, they speak about the wheight of the machine, 5T, do you think it's possible ?

das Gewicht von so einer Maschine zu schätzen ist nicht so einfach. Wenn man die Wandstärke des Fundaments kennt kann man sich das ungefähr zusammen rechnen. Vielleicht hat jemand im Forum einen Dieselmotor in gleicher Größe und weiß das Gewicht!?

to estimate the weight of such engine is difficult. If you know the thickness of the foundation you can summarize the weight approximately. May somebody in the forum has a diesel engine in same size and know the weight!!?

we do have allmost the same steam engine!
The weight, given from the tecnical data sheet is 3500 kg, so the 5t seems to be to much in my mind!
