Info on Rapid Engine

Good Morning All,
I had this engine for some time now and over the years i haven't seen another, Just would be interesting if there were other out there.
It was made in Ebelsberg, Upper Austria by Gebruder Steininger.
Type: C
H/P 5-6 @ 600 rpm
Engine number 1017
Date of manufacture unknown
The person who i bought it from knew nothing of the engine or how it got to Australia, But i'm very happy i have it in my collection.

Hello Mark,
a few years ago I was in Melbourne at Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club.
They have some German / European machines in their halls.
Maybe your colleagues from MSTEC can also help you.
