MWM KD11 Single Cylinder

Hello - New user here. I recently found a MWM KD11D (?) engine here in Pennsylvania, Untied States.
I can find no information regarding this engine locally. I was hoping someone on this Forum would be able to help me identify this engine, when it was manufactured and if there is any source of spare parts or manuals are available. I believe this engine may have had some sort of dynamo or generator attached. I posted a few pictures on the gallery section under buffalomtn

Piston is broken in engine. I need a piston, set of piston rings, gaskets, repair manual.

I think your engine is a KD15e.
To get the parts you are looking for is possible.

This is a MWM KD 15 E. I have the same one.
This engines were built from 1932 top about 1942.

The cylinder head gasket is the only you can buy. You have to make all other seals by yourself.

Hello Noah- Thank you very much. That is extremely helpful. The piston and ring set were my greatest challenge. The head gasket is really the only gasket I preferred to purchase rather than make my self. I will attempt to purchase the items from sources you list. Thank you again. Ed Allandar

Noah- Thanks for your help I was able to obtain a new replacement piston, rings and gaskets from Garf-Motoren-Shop. They were very helpful. The parts arrived today and I'm eager to reassemble the engine and hope to have it operating soon. Thanks so much for your assistance!
